Description

A Himalayan salt flush is a natural, inexpensive detox method that involves drinking a mixture of warm water and unrefined pink Himalayan salt. This combination acts as a natural laxative, promoting bowel movements and helping flush out toxins from the digestive system.


Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons pink Himalayan salt (unrefined, non-iodized)
  • 1 liter (about 4 cups) of warm filtered water
  • Optional: Juice of 1/2 lemon (for taste and additional cleansing benefits)

Instructions

  1. Warm the water slightly — it should be just above room temperature.
  2. Add the salt and stir until fully dissolved.
  3. Optionally, add lemon juice.
  4. Drink the entire mixture within 5 minutes on an empty stomach, ideally first thing in the morning.
  5. Lie on your side and gently massage your stomach to help move the saltwater through your intestines.
  6. Within 30 to 60 minutes, you should feel the urge to use the restroom.
