- 1 cup brewed green tea (cooled; matcha optional for extra antioxidants)
- 1-inch fresh ginger, grated
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 1 tablespoon raw honey (or maple syrup/stevia for a lower-carb option)
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar (with the “mother”)
- Pinch of turmeric
- Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/2 cup coconut water
- 1 teaspoon açaí powder (optional)
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- Brew the Green Tea: Steep green tea in hot water for 3 minutes, then let cool.
- Infuse with Ginger: Add grated ginger to the tea and steep for 10 minutes. Strain if desired.
- Mix Other Ingredients: In a shaker, combine lemon juice/zest, honey, apple cider vinegar, turmeric, cayenne, coconut water, and açaí powder.
- Combine & Serve: Add the ginger-infused tea and water, shake well, and pour over ice or serve at room temperature. Garnish with lemon or cinnamon.
